Visitors will discover spectacular, unparalleled views of Billings and the Yellowstone River Valley from atop the sandstone cliffs. With more than 765 acres of undeveloped open space, these public lands consist of native sagebrush/grassland, ponderosa pine in the rocky outcrop areas, and cottonwood riparian. Four Dances is designated a special recreation management area and an area of critical environmental concern.
